The ‘Planning for Non-Planners’ programme was also successfully delivered in Sheffield in July 2009.

A further two-day ‘Planning for Non-Planners’ programme was delivered in Bristol in July 2009 and was again highly praised by the participants.

The two-day course ‘Planning for Non-Planners’ was delivered in Peterborough in June 2009 and was again very well received by the participants.

The Journal ‘Regeneration and Renewal’ on 9 June 2009 contained a news article about the extension of the Planning for Non-Planners programme due to continued demand.  CRP had been appointed in April to deliver several of the programmes. Read the rest of this entry »

In December 2008 Consult CIH appointed CRP to deliver a training programme for the Board and senior staff of Wakefield Housing Trust (WHT).

In April 2008 John Downie facilitated a lunch time training workshop on ‘Networking and Communication’ for senior managers from West Midlands Fire Service as part of their professional development programme.

During 2008 John Downie was again a lecturer on the University of Birmingham’s MSc Environmental Health course taught in conjunction with the University’s Centre for Urban and Regional Studies.

In 2007 CRP’s Donald McIntosh and Angus Kennedy were invited to deliver a Masterclass on the Castle Vale best practice example of regeneration to the North Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership.

In May 2007, John Downie (second from left in the picture) delivered a paper and gave a presentation on ‘Perspectives on Leading and Achieving Successful Regeneration in the UK’ to a major International Seminar on Urban Regeneration in Seoul, South Korea.  Read the rest of this entry »

In April 2007 CRP’s Angus Kennedy and John Downie led a seminar on behalf of the Government Office for the East Midlands in Nottingham.  The theme of the seminar was Succession Strategies.
