Angus Kennedy spoke at this conference in London in October 2011.  The conference was organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Angus Kennedy presented a Governance Masterclass at the NHF eastern regional conference, which took place at Stansted in September 2011.

In July 2011 Hastings Borough Council announced its major new improvement programme.  The programme arose directly out of work carried out by CRP for Hastings Borough Council and Local Space Housing Association.

In May 2011, building on their recent very successful work, CRP were offered a further contract by Hastings Borough Council and Local Space Housing Association.  CRP’s first report for Hastings had such an impact that a major regeneration initiative for the area was very quickly approved by Hastings Borough Council.  Read the rest of this entry »

John Downie delivered another successful Urban Regeneration and Housing Renewal programme to students on the MSc Environmental Health at the University of Birmingham.  Feedback was extremely positive.

In February 2011 Angus Kennedy attended and contributed to the concept meeting for this initiative, organised by Communities and Local Government (CLG) at their headquarters in London.  The meeting was attended by representatives of coastal towns throughout England.

Angus Kennedy was invited to be part of the advisory steering group planning the 2011 National Housing Federation Leaders Conference.

The annual Awards Ceremony of the Homes and Communities Agency took place in London in September 2010.  Angus Kennedy was one of the judges, as he has been since 2007.  These awards were formerly the Regeneration and Renewal awards.

The 2010 Regeneration Masterclass was another resounding success.  It took place amidst a changing political landscape:  the first two modules, in March and April, were delivered during the final months of the Labour government, while the third module, in May, took place just after the General Election which brought in the new coalition government of Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.
