Guardian Online Article anticipates 2009 Masterclass
On 3 February 2009 the Guardian Online (www.guardian.co.uk) published an article written by Jane Dudman which highlighted the opportunity provided by the forthcoming 2009 Regeneration Masterclass (organised by CRP) to help regeneration professionals to find solutions to some of the difficulties facing regeneration projects during the recession.
Entitled ‘Investment and the Economy’ the article described how a lack of data about their implications was making regeneration projects controversial:
‘Later this month, public leaders will get a chance to rehearse the case for government investment in regeneration. The Chartered Institute of Housing and the British Urban Regeneration Association, with support from the Homes and Communities Academy, are again running a Masterclass for regeneration professionals, with the aim of ensuring that ‘future regeneration projects don’t stall’.
