In 2004, CRP entered into a Co-Financing (European Funded) Outreach Project with Birmingham City Council.  This was an opportunity for CRP, Kings Norton New Deal for Communities and the Council to better engage with local residents and assist them in accessing services and activities.  It enabled greater support to be provided for people in the Kings Norton Three Estates NDC area looking to get into work or training.  The initiative continued until 2007.
