In 2008 CRP were appointed by Groundwork West Midlands to review their business operation and identify future business opportunities.  The aim of the commission was to ‘inform the West Midlands Regional Committee (of Groundwork) on the scope of future need and business opportunities in the region over the next 5 years, and the most likely routes for contracts, commissions and grants’.  The report also contained an analysis of the perception of Groundwork’s stakeholders and customers in the area.  Alongside this work Groundwork West Midlands issued a separate commission for work on the structural options for Groundwork in the West Midlands.  The final report was completed in June 2008, and a presentation was delivered to Groundwork’s Regional Committee.
