During 2008 Angus Kennedy continued to be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute’s President’s Advisory Group.  The Group was set up by Martin Willey who will be President of the RTPI in 2009.  The aim of the group is to seek external and internal perceptions of planners and planning, as well as considering how to measure performance and raise the profile of the profession.
