In 2004, CRP’s Angus Kennedy was asked to chair a Neighbourhood Wardens Conference, reflecting CRP’s track record in supporting grassroots delivery of community projects and its ability to coordinate wide ranging initiatives.  This built on Castle Vale HAT’s experience as one of the first organisations to employ Neighbourhood Wardens. Castle Vale had also been used by Government Minister Geoff Rooker as the location to launch the  first Neighbourhood Warden Handbook.
