In April 2007, CRP was commissioned by Safer Walsall Borough Partnership (SWBP) to evaluate its Community Safety Intervention Group (CSIG), which was a key part of SWBP’s delivery of services to its community.  The research involved interviews with key participants in the scheme, a review of the available literature which related to work in this area, a review of the context within which the Community Safety Intervention Group operated, and a review of examples of ‘best practice’ in this type of scheme which could help improve the CSIG’s work.
