    Paycare Wolverhampton

In May 2012 Donald McIntosh was elected Chairman of Paycare Wolverhampton.

An Article from the Express and Star on 3 July 2012 paid tribute to Donald.  Under the Headline:  ‘Paycare’s New Chairman’, the article said:

‘The Board of Wolverhampton-based healthcare cash plan provider Paycare has appointed Donald McIntosh as its new chairman.  Mr. McIntosh steps up from his role as a non-executive director of Paycare which he has held since 2006.  He has a long and varied career within the public and voluntary sector.

His knowledge of issues such as governance, organisational development and his experience within the health-care sector and in consultancy for not-for-profit organisations equips him well for his new role with Paycare.

Mr. McIntosh is also executive director of Community Regeneration Partnership Ltd. and a lay advisor for the West Midlands Deanery.   As a lay advisor, he is part of Annual Review of Competence Progression Panels assessing the teaching and support being given to principally junior doctors.  He also is a founder trustee of the Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Support project based in Wolverhampton.

Paycare’s chief executive, Gail Maltby said:  ‘We are delighted that Donald has accepted the role of Paycare charman and we look forward to working with him in the future.’
